Where Do I start!???!

Which are better chickens for me?
Bantam breeds
or standard and large fowl breeds?

I dont necessarily like eggs all that much, but I might eventually when I get my hens. I want a docile breed that can become tame, and that I could take to school, and other places. I just dont know where to start! Any ideas anyone??

       Okay, so the door on my coop is finally finished after having to constanly bugg the crap out of the guy who buit our coop! I was so excited; but then come to find out, my coop isn't completely predator proof!!

       You've got to be kidding me right?? Well not really! So I am going outside to work on it right now. I have to nail wooden boards to the gaps on the sides of the door and dig a little and place some chicken wire underground to prevent digging predators.

      Just another step on the LONG, LONG road to

 finally getting my laying hens! I just keep telling myself "Just a few more weeks!"
